Sam Wallace and his wife Sharla both were born and raised in small West Texas towns just outside of Lubbock. Both Sam and Sharla are proud to call themselves fourth generation Texans. Sam’s great-grandfather established his first ranch in El Paso, Tx., before eventually moving to Spur, Tx., to form one of the larger ranches in Kent County. In honor of this heritage, Sam named his home building company the “Flying V”, the brand of his grandmother’s ranch.  In 2007, Flying V Homes LLC was established in Abilene, Tx., with a rich Texas family heritage and the hard-working values that go along with it.

Sam and Sharla know the best way to complete a quality house is to partner with the best quality craftsmen that Abilene has to offer.  They have been teaming with the top professionals in Abilene’s home building trade since starting their first home.  Many of the skilled hands that constructed their first home are still helping create beautiful, functional homes with Sam and Sharla today.
